I wanna do something today in Ayr

We are on holiday at haven in Ayr Scotland.
There are 2 adults our 16yr old daughter and her 15yr old friend.
The weather has turned cold and wet, so our plans for crazy golf, go karts and a walk to the beach need to change.
we are going to the on site swimming pool at 11.30 but could anyone reccomend anything after that.
we don't mind driving up to 45 mins away, but no further, we've already been to Edinburgh that was a 1hr 30 minute drive.

Don't know if you're still reading this... The Scotland board would've probably got you a better response.

Anyway, how about Culzean Castle just down the road? Apart from that, can't suggest much indoor stuff apart from hitting the shops (either Ayr, or go up to Silverburn (Jct2 M77, 25 mins) which is a new shopping centre)?

Shame about the weather but it's supposed to be much nicer (and drier) tomorrow

Thanks went shopping in Ayr. and to the Hunny Pot caf!. We were impressed with the amount of shops. We're from Manchester.
