Has anyone been married on board a cruise ship?

I am just wanting a little bit of advice please. I am trying to arrange our wedding on board a Royal Caribbean cruise around the Mediterranean. I have been informed by the wedding planner that this can be done if we are in Naples so I have picked a cruise that goes there. He has forwarded me the cost for this and it is $5,900 for the wedding and $700 for the license - now I think that is a massive amount to charge just for the service, we have got the cruise to pay for separately to this. Could anyone please give me details of how much their wedding at sea cost around the med.
