How long does it take...

If my IVA proposal is rejected 20th March, I have an appointment booked at the County Court for 9th April. Is the three week period in between the two dates a dangerous one? i.e. can I expect bailiffs etc? or does it take longer than that for the creditors to take such action? What should I expect if anything?
In the beginning, there was nothing.
The Lord said "Let there be light".
There was still nothing, but you could see it.
