Hi
Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive bike rack to go the back of the car. I have a Ford Focus and would like to carry 3 mountain bikes.
All suggestions and recommendations are grateful.
Thanks in advance.

We got ours from Halfords - had it 3 years now - definitely holds 2 mountain bikes but could hold 3 (at a squeeze)
Just be careful that the rear numberplate is visible - with some racks it isn't and you have to buy a spare plate!
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!0 -
Mine from halfrauds too. Cracking one, half price, has rails for the wheels too so it is above the number plate. You just have to buy a fitting kit with it for about £6, also doesn't use straps, uses hooked bars insted, well solid.Live slow, Die old lol0

The best one is the Saris Bones but it is £85 from Wiggle(there is a £5 off voucher), cheaper is the Saris Guardian 3 for £60(use voucher on site). A cheaper option is the Thule Freeway 3 for £50. Another one from Edinburgh bikes for £50.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0

If you want one for the roof - I bought one recently - a Thule roof rack with 2 cycle carriers for about £135 from a website - just google "skidrive" - don't want to promote.
Cheers Jz0
