You could make a wordsearch using words / placenames / fixtures / team members related to the tour. Or other game and activities on similar theme - goodle discovery schools and you should find the US TV channel site with free activitybuilders.

Also worth looking at tes.co.uk and seeing the resource bank - then search for KS3 and appropriate activities/quizzes.

If you're going to have them all in one place in the evenings, then a quiz would be a great idea to get them all in one place and doing the same thing - and relatively quiet. My tip is to get a big bag of treatsize goodies and ideally a couple of prizes from Poundland or similar (little electronic game keyrings and metallic propellor pencils seem to impress).

    Good luck and enjoy!

  • I recommend buying 15 x NUTS, 15 x ZOO magazines and a few bottles of vodka and allowing them supervised passage into their teens....

    Just a thought!
  • I run a local magazine called DA1 Living. If you look at the index on page 3 of the previous editions at http://www.dartfordadvertising.co.uk/page002.html you can find out which page the "Puzzle Cellar" is on and you could print these out :-)

Save your money, I'm sure if they are anything like me and my mates when we were 13 ( but that was a LOOOOONG time ago) they'll be bringing their own!

Try this link to make your own general quiz. Alternatively search out the history of the area you are going to and create your own quiz from that, and add in any rugby knowledge. No easy answer....
