Confused Potential First Time Buyer
Gambit
Hi all,
I wanted to get people's thoughts on what's going on in the market at the mo. I'm currently renting but want to look to buy a property some time this calendar year. With all that's going on though I'm getting confused as to whether now is a good time to buy or whether it would be better to wait for the potential crash that many think is going to happen.
Does anyone have any advice? Or know of any articles that may help me find the answers I'm looking for? I understand that any answers will just be opinions but at least it would help me to understand when the best situation is for me to buy.
Cheers for any advice offered

I suppose it depends on the situation you're in at the moment, where you live, how big a deposit you have, and what the income multiples are of what you'd like to buy. From your signature it looks as if you might not have a large deposit at the moment, so I'd think the best bet is to save, save, save until you've got a few thousand pounds saved and are in a position where you're not looking for more than 3.5 times your salary as a mortgage.0
