Does anyone else have an Easter tree?
I put mine up yesterday, i picked up the tradition whilst living in Germany may years ago, and i think they look lovely.
Is is just me? as any visitor's i have all wonder what it is
When my ds was little, the easter bunny used to leave his chocolate eggs next to the tree (where else:D), as he got older we did eggs hunts instead.

When our children were little I put
willow and daffodils in a vase and hang easter ornaments and chocolate bunnys from M&S. The vase would then be stood in a large shallow bowl and mini eggs etc were placed around the vase, to hide the eggs they were covered in shredded green tissue paper, grass. Now we have grandchildren this will be reinstated next year.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -
A friend who lives in Holland sent us some Easter tree decorations this week. Not having an Easter tree, I have had to improvise and have hung the decorations from some gold twigs I have in a tall vase on my bay window! Looks very effective though. now I want a real Easter tree for next year!0

I'd completely forgotten about this thread!!
It'll soon be easter again :T I think I may need some new twigs this year, my old ones are looking a bit worse for wear and have been a bit battered about up in the attic.Murphy's No More Pies Club member # 140 - lost 40 lbs

Check out this site .... http://www.marthastewart.com/article/tissue-paper-eggs?lnc=1aaeb0be557ee010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=collage_crafts_easter-crafts Martha Stewart has some great craft ideas. If the link doesn't work
then go to Martha Stweart site, click on craft and select holidays then Easter. Great ideas I am also thinking of doing the glitter eggs with pastel glitter, very fine, and hanging them with ribbons.
