Just at the end of the forms

Hi,
Just at the end of completing the forms and just wanted to double check a few quick things:

The outgoing section, I have completed what is listed and in other essential payments and then added to the other essential payments section -
Home insurance - £11
Liability insurance required to work- £10
TV licence - £23
Laundrette - £26
Opticians, Dentist & Prescription- £18
Hair cut - £12
Work expenses(tools) - £15

Is this ok to list these here and then I assume the OR will want a full I&E with non essentials items like holidays, etc to see if allowed them or not.
Is there anything else I need to include in this section on the form?

Also when it comes to the cuase of bankruptcy, is it best to be short with bullet points on the form and I was thinking of including to the OR a more detailed letter to cover any extra questions before the phone call.
What do people think about that?

Thanks for your help x

If your case is fairly straight forward it is unlikely that you will have to complete another I&E when you first file BR so it's best to put everything on your forms ( I know there isn't much space). I listed items similar to yours in that space and it was fine but if you are wanting to claim for holidays etc you'll have to put them on the form.

Bullet points will be fine for the the reasons and the OR will confirm this in your interview.

  • Hi potofgold

Not an expert (someone will be along later), but why is your tv licence £23?

You can try putting hols in and xmas,b'days - although my OR didn't allow for this

    Hi,
TV licence is paid on monthly payment card and this is the amount the TV licence people have asked for and then in August it will become the standard amount of I think £11 a month.
Not sure why they do it this way something to do with paying some months of the licence prior to issue and some after!! Hope that makes sense!

I couldn't fit any more costs on to the form so have submitted it as it was and will have to add my extras after. Thanks for your help x

    Hi Pot
As far as tv licence is concerned i think you have to put down the cost of the licence then divide it by 12. It's no good putting £23 as they will question this. On most of my wkly bills i X's it by 52 then divided it by 12. The same with rates(you only pay 10 mths) you have to divide the total by 12. Hope that makes sense!.Dalip
