Homebase Relaxer \ Steamer £19.99

Hardwood Hamilton steamer £19.99, seen for sale in 3 localish Homebases so presume nationwide, they have loads!

Argos has Valencia Relaxer Cushions for £8.70 each (650\2942) and these fit a treat and go the full length unlike the homebase ones that cost £30 down from £40 and are short at the top and bottom, so for £28.69 a super bargain.

go get em

Thanks ramtec, we are now proud owners of 4 of these steamers. However we went to the Doncaster store and they came up at £24.99 at the till and the "lady" there said they COULD NOT be £19.99 anywhere else as it was in the computer! We argued for a while but to no avail and lo and behold in the Sheffield store, the NICE gentleman was just unloading a palletfull of them and after scanning said "yes, these are £19.99"So 4 are sitting in our garden as I type!!
We also took you on your word and bought 4 of the cushions from Argos but our steamers must be a lot longer than yours as they definately are too small! Anyone know where we can get some cheap cushions??
Thanks again ramtec that was a great find!
  • Ramtec, I too was told 24.99 and hesitated a while but got 2 anyway as I thought they were still a good buy. Went straight to Argos but could not get hold of the cushions. Code not recognised in the machine and not in the catalogues they had in store. I too am now looking for cushions and will post such on Iwant it board and cross my fingers. Thanks anyway, still pleased with steamers

I went to Plymouth today, no steamers but those gorgeous hardwood flat sunbeds were down to £44.99. Unfortunately they won't fit in the car, so will have to go back with husbands estate!. Great find.

Homebase's pricing in their stores depends on the competion in the area. If there is no local competion that store will charge higher prices.

A few years back, when their price match policy covered everything I used to make the expensive local Homebase price match with the cheap Homebase a few miles further away.

My B&Q has the hardwood flat sunbeds reduced to £25.

They have different ranges and its not the top quality one - but a bargain at £25.

I may have a wander to hombase too - anyone know if they have some at York?
    :)
