Warning - Boots 500 points Baby offer ended

Not sure where this should be posted (argh. should have gone in the Gone section - sorry, please move!) - probably where the most Boots baby bargain baggers see it (heh) but I got a shock when I went to purchase my usual £25 worth of Baby stuff in Boots on holiday last week. Boots have now withdrawn the "spend £25 in store and get 500 points" offer that has been on for SO LONG.

The till assistant didn't tell me either until I paid for everything and noticed that my points hadn't gone on. By that stage, it had taken so long to scan everything through and pay for it that there was a huge queue and I didn't have the heart to return half of it and take just what I needed then. BAH! I'll go back to buying it all at Tescos and Asdas.

Oh that's not on!! I think the S.A should have told you before putting everything through. I was in Boots and certainly didn't see any signs up saying the offer had ended.

I suspect they will notice their baby sales go down considerably and then re-introduce it

Fluffy - they said that as they had removed all of the signs from the store advertising the offer then the buyer had no right to expect it to still be running!

I'm just narked as that and the combinations of the BOGOF usually meant £££s saved on nappies and baby wipes! I'd have stocked up if I'd have known.

You cant expect them to tell you an offer has ended, i went in for my stock up on baby wipes the other day (14 packs:)) and saw no signs up so i asked and was told it has ended so i only bought 4 packs this time.
