any thoughts on West Bromwich BS Mortgage?

Has anyone got any feedback on mortgages from the West Bromwich Building Society?
They are currently offering (or appear to be!) a 5 year fixed rate at 5.79%. This is "slightly higher" than a lot of other fixed rates, but they claim
-No product fee
-No arrangement fee
-No legal fees
-Valuation fee paid (upto £520)
Any thoughts?

I think west brom only lend 3.5x joint salary (good if you ask me)
They do seem to be one of the best at the minute though. First Direct are also pretty good.0
