Hi Guys
I am looking at going BR soon (not got date yet!) as I am moving house and wanted to wait to get through the credit check (got through with a guarantor!!) so we move 7 April.
Should I give the creditors my new adress (i am redirecting the mail anyway!) but do I have to tell them?
Once im in my new place and got all the utilities sorted, Im going to set the date (around may!)
Thanks

Hi cmd:D,
I don't think you have to tell them, but I'm not sure whether you need the exact debt figures for your SOA on your BR form? So you may need the statements to hand??? I only had one long standing debt and new the figure off by heart...Someone should be along in a min:D

It will be a very busy time for you, with moving, dealing with creditors, bankruptcy and the like. Just never thought to tell the creditors about my move. Very sorry Mr OR. Was it the wrong thing to do?????
(If your BR really will be that close, I wouldn't bother to tell them)0 -
I told my OR that some of the balances I had were old as hadn't had any updated info and he was fine with me, just said it's ok he can find them out when he speaks to them.
Some of my creditors I hadn't spoken to in two years due to moving etc, not good, I know but was hiding from my situation!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
I wouldnt bother if your getting a redirecton, i didnt do it on some of my creditors, 2 of my loans i haven't updated the addresses and i have moved 3 times since that address and my OR didnt mention a thing in my interview. it certainly helps if they dont have your phone number, luckily only Barclaycard have my new home number, natwest and rbs have my old mobile.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone
Well my 6 years are now up, now to start to rebuild my life again
