hi, has anyone got a conservatory with a hot tub in?
the idea is to build a `p` shaped conservatory and sink a hot tub into the floor.
i want the tub under the floor so when not in use i can but the floor panel over it and forget about it, as it will most likely only get used about 10 times a year (tops).
i am wondering about condensation in the conservatory when its not used (plumbers advise please)
also the running costs of the hot tubs, any reccomendations and tips.

i read recently that hot tubs are going to have to give out health warnings , apparently bad for heart rhthums any one heard about this....
i would of though a dehumidifier would be helpfull, some are pretty powerfull but can be stored away in a cupboard.
are they energy rated.?? .. if you are sinking it into the floor you will need to think about HIP should you sell.totally debt free:j and mortgage free too 20100 -
Hi
I have a hot tub but we have ours in the garden in the open. We have had it for just over two years and bought it second hand - it was two years old and cost us £3,500 to buy.
It costs about £40-£50 a month to run with electricity to heat water and chemicals to keep them water levels correct.
I don't think i personally would recommend having it inside a conservatory as it does need to be kept at about 37 degrees constantly.
Not sure that it would be worht the cost of buying and installing if you only intend to use it 10 times a year, we use ours most nights and is worth every penny of the running costs to us
hope this helpsElite 5:2 #6 8 /34lbs0
