  • may I ask your combination of what you purchased? i.e. did you buy one razor, use the voucher for that to buy blades then buy another razor then more blades... im confused how you got 2 razors and 7 packs of blades for £3.18!!

    Thats a bargin!!

Exactly as described by jo--king. Take everything to the till, the checkout assistant takes them from the security cases and while she does that I liberated ALL the coupons and gave them to her. The scanner accepted them all and I got the impression she didn't want to hold up the queue by arguing I couldn't use them:D

    So basically 2 razors at £3-64 each less the 2 X £2 voucher = £3-28 and 7 packs of blades at £2-98 less 7 x £3 vouchers = -£0-14p
My maths are obviously wrong as this works out at £3-14:D

Thanks for the tip michelle. Finally got to Tesco at Clifton Moor yesterday thinking they'd have sold out over the weekend! But no, there were loads of razors reduced to £3.64 with the £2 coupon on the back, so got 2 of those plus the last 3 4 pack of razors at £2.98 each with £3 voucher on.

When I went to the checkout with my shopping I asked the nice young lad to put the razors through first so I could take the vouchers off which he was happy to do.

The other half was happy when I got home as I'd actually saved some money instead of spending even more!!

I've tried this today, and the cashier refused to accept them. :( Said they were for the 8-packs only and for additional purchases, not those.

So I've got 3 £3 vouchers and enough blades to last my legs, DH, both DS1 and DS2 and possibly our grandchildren a lifetime.

Anyone know if I'll be able to use them against an ordinary shop at Tesco?

    Cheers.

Last shop they didn't (try to) scan them as they said they were problematic and would not scan. Today the young lad scanned it and I git £3 off my normal shop - no problem. I'd imagine if your self scan is coupon-happy these would not be a problem.
  • Self scanned the £2 at the weekend no problem.

Thank you op. I bought mine along with about £50 of shopping. Pulled the coupons off and handed them straight over with no problem.

I did go to the young lad on the till though, they never seem to care lol!

Other half is really impressed with the shave so thank you!

I hope that you were doing £50 of shopping in tesco where they give you money off every litre of fuel when you spend £50 LOL
