hi
we need to remortgage in a couple of months and would like to get a 100% mortgage
original 3 yr fixed is ending in sept, original loan was £95K for a property valued at £100k, rate is 5.59% (cant leave yet or we get charged £2.5K in redemption penalties)
we want to consolidate some other debt, so would be looking at borrowing £110k (i think the house will be valued at this at least after 3 years, hopefully!!!)
our joint income PA is about £35K including benefits and tax credits
anyone know if there are any good 100% deals out there, i know we will probably have to pay a high rate, and maybe some fees
thanks
colin

From what the experts on here have been saying there are very few 100% mortgages left, and most are for professionals only. I think it'd be a crazy decision to go from a 95% mortgage to a 100% mortgage in this climate - since you've had your mortgage for nearly 3 years you should be trying to get 90% deals, not 100% deals! Also wouldn't be too confident that the value of your house won't have gone down rather than up!
I think you should look at alternative ways to pay off your debt instead.0 -
No body. Proffessional only, scottish widow have pulled a lot of products though and only have proffessional 100% deals.
