Threadless.com Spring sale: funky T-shirts from $9

What's the deal?
Threadless, the US T-shirt brand which prints witty & quirky designs submitted and chosen by its users, is having a 'spring clean' sale. The shirts start at a mere $9 (around £4.50), though you'll have to pay postage on top.
How can I get 'em?
Browse the sale collection at Threadless.com, and add whatever takes your fancy to your basket. The shop's easy to navigate, and the range is impressive.
Postage & Import Duty
Delivery rates to the UK are very reasonable; I added three shirts and postage came to $10.10 (around £5). That said, you may wait up to 25 days for your order to arrive.
Whilst some people have noted that orders of less than 3 items are less likely to be stopped at customs, there's no guarantee of this, so you should be prepared to pay the relevant charges. It ought still to work out a fair bit cheaper than the UK high st.
Anything else?
Take a photo of yourself wearing your Threadless shirt and post it on the site, and they'll give you $1.50 credit (per photo) to use against your next order.

I have had loads of t shirts from here but the last lot I ordered - I got stung on customs charge for :-(
so be prepared for it!!
otherwise great tshirtsIt's better to travel hopefully than arrive...0 -
I got an order last week that were printed on Fruit of The Loom T-shirts. They were definitely not up to the same standard as previous orders - much lighter weight material, though printing was good (doesn't fade). Also the sizing was a bit big - a small T was more like a medium.
It might just be that my previous orders were on a different brand of shirt, as Threadless use 3 manufacturers."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
gutted they only take Credit card, I'd happily spend a fortune on these shirts.0

Last time I ordered loads, I stuck to three per order which neatly missed out on the customs charge for only a little more P&P overall0 -
I've ordered from this site in the past - and I got stung by customs.
They are great prints but the t-shirts must be washed in cold water only which can be a bit of a pain.0 -

Also has lots of great shirts and they are printed on American Apparel which are really high quality. They have a deal a day for $10, but £6 is the usual cost.0 -

I bung mine in a 30 degree wash and they come out fine. No noticeable shrinkage or fading. Don't tumble dry as the print is done with plasticised ink and may crack. I always turn them inside out (to avoid fading in sunlight) and line-dry or put over an airer indoors."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -

Oh, and I had no idea about the cool wash thing and they've been fine at 40 degrees...0
