What's this about?

The high street is at it again, flaunting discounts to draw in customers for the new season. There's a host of good discounts available at the moment; some on websites, some in magazines, or emailed to out to specific individuals.

It's important to check you're eligible to use it. Recently Littlewoods was chasing people who'd used its voucher when they weren't eligible. All the vouchers below have been checked out for legitimacy.

  NB: Although 40% off seems like a generous discount, it doesn't necessarily mean using the voucher will make it the cheapest option. As Thresher specialises in selling alcohol it'll usually cost more than the price of a similar brand in a supermarket, so compare these before rushing out with your voucher.

  How? Pick up the April edition of Elle Decoration magazine for £3.60 and inside is a mini booklet on Habitat. The voucher's at the back of the booklet.

Marks and Spencers are advertising in conjunction with Oxfam at the moment. Take any unwanted M+S clothing and donate it to an Oxfam shop, and you receive a voucher for £5. off shopping at M+S. You have to spend £35. on clothing, home or beauty products to use the voucher, and it has to be used within the same calendar month as you receive it. There is info at www.oxfam.org.uk/MandS

I just had a look on H&M's website and when doing a search for my nearest store I noticed that only Eden Walk in Kingston came up. There is however one just opened not so long ago in the Bentall Centre which has a men’s section too. I bought a shirt from there last week.

I was given a leaflet at the till it has a picture of a roasted chicken on the front incase your looking for them
there are three vouchers for
Save £5 when you spend £35+ on food, drink, flowers or plants(one valid 26/3 - 1/4, another 2/4 - 8/4, and 9/4 - 15/4)
One voucher for
Save £10 when you spend £50+ on food, drink, flowers or plants Valid 16/4 - 22/4
And another voucher for a FREE COFFEE at M&S Cafe with any purchase in cafe before 12 noon Valid 4th - 13th April in the terms it says "This voucher entitles the holder to any hot drink absolutely free at M&S cafe only"

Marks and Spencers Chester have reduced all their sale stock to £3.00 I'm not sure if all branches are doing the same. Maybe worth a trip, there's lots of larger size clothing but still 12s and 14s amongst them and plenty of children's wear.

I signed up for the H&M one and have used it 3 times now with no problems. They do state on the voucher that it can only be used once but the receipt just shows 'Discount 3' therefore it does not indicate what type of voucher it is. Still good marketing for the store as I am shopping there more often now :rolleyes:
