'Free three electricals'- what happened?!

To anyone who remembers last nights thread involving someone claiming three.co.uk were selling products off as £0.00...what happened with this? I fell for it, then realised the homepage had spelt 'precious' as 'prescious' so thought it might be dodgy and cancelled my card...then this thread got deleted and the three website started malfunctioning.

Not sure if this is the right place to put this thread, very new, sorry!

It got deleted because the OP was rude racist and their attitude was totaly uncalled for and not welcome on the site.
    Thats why it got deleted.

If you did enter your card details i would watch your account carefully.

The OP seemed to have some kind of attitude problem, or was intoxicated.

The site was legit. I went to 3's main site and managed to navigate to exactly the same site.

The security certificate was valid on the site. I think any warning may have came because not all of the page was https.
  • i wondered where it had got to- i agree that the o/p was definately 'in a funny mood' but i do think the site's legit- i gave completely fake card details and got a nice confirmation order from them...

however, i have checked the T+C's on the website that the email directed me to, and it says:

Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we send you a second e-mail confirming we have accepted your order

Alternatively we may decline all or part of your order for any reason,
(being a cheeky so and so?) in which case our second e-mail will tell you so.

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method. Please note that products, prices and offers in 3 stores may differ from those featured on this site.

So, who knows- maybe they will do it, maybe not?
    Not lost anythng anyway!

  • We got moved! are we the site baddies - unscrupulously ripping off multi-million pound corporations?
