are you sure it's free?? what does sold at live weight mean?? I wanna get some but scared they will charge me.A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I tried ordering 5 of these. When I got to the checkout I got this message:
Std Delivery charges £6.95, orders over £100 delivery Free Goods ordered Value = £0.00Delivery Charge = £6.95The minimum order is £ 0.10
So you can't order just the lobsters. You have to order something else that costs at least 10p. Having said that, still maybe a good deal if you're having a dinner party.0 -
Hiow about ordering some crab stix for 32.95 that should make the order ok and you can feed the little buggers the crab stix until youre ready to cook um .. there sorted !!!!Onwards and Upwards0

Looks like you are killing the local economy, by getting these for free (if its a mis-pricing). If it was Tesco, ASDA or any other big chain I wouldn't think twise though....
just a thought (I know, posted something about a free projector earlier, but been adviced that the company is rather good, so I thought again... mmmh - morals kicking in I guess!)0 -

I've used Martins before and they are a small co operative. I seem to remember that I didn't get a price until after they had weighed the lobsters for me, although it was last year so I may be remembering wrongly.

you are right, soolin. That is what selling by live weight means - they catch the lobsters, weigh them and then charge you according to the weight. I've bought from them too and that is exactly what happens.
These lobsters aren't free!0
