There was a thread on here a few weeks ago where a couple were in a similar situation & were thinking of selling. My advice would be not to sell. You would be better off putting your SOA on here to see if people can advise you where you can cut back. OH & I were at our lowest point a few weeks ago & very nearly consolidated our debts. We're so glad we didn't as we have already started to see the benefits from where we have made cutbacks. If you sll your home you may never get back onto the property ladder & what will you do later in life when you have nothing to fall back on?Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028. We're selling hope to be moved next week. Will have enough equity to make a big chop in our debts although will have to stay on our DMP, and have managed to buy again albeit alot smaller. Don't know if we've made the right decision yet, but it feels right, will let you know. Good luck with whatever you decide.0
