Phoned Virgin and they agreed 6 months at 0%

Any other advice appriated

If you are struggling to meet the minimum repayments, it may be worth talking to one of the debt charities such as CCCS, payplan, CAB or nationalhelpline. You don't need to take their advice or go on a DMP, but they may be able to guide you towards making a more informed decision regarding your debts.

Are you still spending on your cards, or have you cut right back?

I would suggest having a spending diary to see where you spend your money and if any cutbacks can be made.

Looking at those debts though, you're probably paying over £800 each month and you definately don't have that money available. A DMP may not be a bad idea. It'll at least allow you some slack with your finances and 6 years later you'll hopefully be saving for a deposit.

You could try asking the council if you could pay the tax over 12 months rather than 10, perhaps stop some of the insurance payments. It looks VERY tight though.

Don't know what the payments are for the debts or their APR's, but you should be paying the minimum on all but the highest APR.
