Hi,
I have an automatic card transaction set up for Experian for updates from Experian (I signed up for the free report, then forgot to cancel it = £6.99 per month).
Does anyone know the number to cancel the recouring card transaction?

I cancelled mine by phone - on the 29th day. They were very good and reminded me I still had access for the next 24 hours.0

i forgot about this one as it's not a direct debit, just one of those irritating recurring payments, and it took me over my overdraft limit causing me to get a fee. grrrr and then i got a message from experian telling me i had some intersting stuff happening on my credit report! iroinc

I emailed them to cancel my membership and they are refusing to do it via email.
I've explained I don't have a land line phone at the mo, and wouldn't feel comfortable calling from a payphone but they're still insisting they need to speak to me. I DO NOT want MORE Experian products. :eek:0 -

A bank can't cancel a continuous credit or debit authorisation since there is nothing to cancel, you can only dispute each charge one by one. Also the service is subject to a contract, the contract needs to be terminated in the correct way - by contacting the other party.0
