Everyone is obviously a bit slower on a Sunday as no thread started yet :j
Must confess I'm sitting doing some paperwork and was watching at the same time but well done to hypno's fabulous ski-ing kids for working so hard to get the money together.
and well done to Noo for the "price challenge", must admit I thought the most expensive bag looked like it was a £3 one from Primark

The general consensus is that I needed more concealer to hide my eye-bags......
The children looked good though - I was very pleased with that!!
My mortgage is on a 10 year fixed rate so I have a loooong time to worry about changing that.......
.......but I so want a gold piggy bank :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Sky plussed it earlier so will let you know my views when the kids are in bed later!0

missed the first 10 mins but really liked the longer format. thought vanessa phelps was a really good guest - she was interested in all the savings she could make. i'm glad all the stuff from the online show is now going to be broadcast on the tv.:happyhear0

Im absolutely gutted because I missed the program this morning. It was the mortgage one as well and I really wanted to see it.
I'm going to ring round the family to see if anyone has taped it. I've not missed any up to now :mad:0 -
Good show. Was Martin talking more slowly?0

Great to see IPTW & Extra in the hour long show. Especially good for those who do not have Internet access.
I thought Vanessa Feltz and our Vanessa were really entertaining and so funny! Vanessa was a great your wallet guest I thought.................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -
It's Vanessa Feltz not Phelps lol. I am really sorry I missed this episode -I was expecting IPTW to be on a prime time slot in the evening! It would be nice if the full episodes were available on the IPTW website. Does anyone who recorded it want to post it on youtube? :P0

I also thought Vanessa Feltz was a good guest. She seemed genuinely interested and I loved the double entendre about getting into her bra and knickers ;-)
The mortgage feature was good. I have a five year fix expiring in June and had already started looking around (only got eight years left :-). I daresay I'll be posting for advice on the Mortgage thread pretty soon (although going to a broker seemed to be the main advice, so maybe I should do just that...) I prefer the hour programme, although I realise it would probably put some people off from watching it if they have to sit through a whole hour - and they're probably the people Martin most wants to see it.0 -
i watch this every wed but today the one i actually could do with watching and i couldnt for one thing and another.. jarred off now such a shame they have to mess about with timings and not put it on on wed as normal.. i dont watch the repeats on a sunday but this time it wasnt a repeat arghhhhhhThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
Are thinking of you today.0 -
I think it is a shame that there wasn't more time to save Vanessa Feltz some money. It was partly her own fault for talking so much but I really think the celebrity wallet needs to be given a few extra minutes, it feels terribly rushed. To be honest, they could have done without the "is the price right" gimmick, that was the same as when Justin and Colin had to say which handbag they thought was more expensive, and I found it boring (sorry). But I am jealous of vanoonoo now, I want a golden moneypig!Reclaimed thanks to this site:
