Magazine freebies never in stock!!!

Does anyone else ever get this??

There was a free offer in Grazia last week for a free Dior mirror and brush set at Dior Counters. I went to House of Fraser from Tuesday onwards until today - end of offer. Apparently demand was so great that they were outof stock every single day!!!!

On Saturday she told me they were deifnitely getting 50 more on monday, so I toddled in today and guess what??? No delivery and a different sales girl - aaagh!!!

This always happens - I am getting so teed off with them - not going to bother cutting out coupons and pages anymore!!!

Why not email or ring Dior and complain? I did this with Clinique (I think!) when they were offering a free lipstick and I could never find a counter with them in stock. They replied very quickly with an apology and they sent me one by post! :j

    Hi elisebutt65

I've moved your post over to Freebies Gone But Not Forgotten as this is the best place to talk about freebie offers that have finished or that you never managed to get hold of!

Personally, I hate these sort of giveaways. The women at the make-up counters always seem to be looking down their noses at me. They can obviously tell that I'm not going to come back and spend £££s at their counter! ;)

I'd complain as well - pad it out with blurb about how you really wanted to find out more about their range and were pleased to be offered a free gift as a regular reader of Grazia but were very disappointed with the customer service at the counter etc. etc.

    Worth a shot! :)
