Pampers new 'Feel & Learn' nappies BOGOF packs at Morrisons (Potty Training)

Options
Hi Everyone,

You may have seen the adverts lately showing Pampers' new 'Feel and Learn' nappies to assist with potty training.

Well I was in my local Morrisons this afternoon and they had the packs on a Buy one pack get one free limited offer for £4.99.

They only had them in size 5-6 which was a little to big for my son (its 26 pounds+) but I got a few packs to put away.

Hope this helps someone! :T

Have got them on buy one get one free in Tesco as well. I received 2 x £2 voucher from pampers for these so 2 packets for £1 - even better

Er, hang on - as Asda price match, does that mean they should do their packs BOGOF also? That means that 2 packs should be £3.98. Is that right? I never did quite grasp the BOGOF price match thing!

Price Match tends to mean that they will give you it for the same price so I would imaging they would charge you the £4.99 for the 2 packs. Take your receipt back into the store and speak to their customer services.

This is mad - buy cheapo nappies instead - think about it!

you want your kids to feel it when they are wet? how much of a con is this?

Our health visitor told us to buy the cheapest nappies we could, and my nipper was out of nappies in a couple of weeks - wanted to go to the toilet instead.

First these big companies con us into buying nappies that the kids dont notice (guess what - they stay in nappies longer & you buy more) , and then they con you into buy nappies that they do notice (even more nappies - probably more expensive too!).

    crazy.

It is possible to potty train within a few weeks. Only likely with an older toddler at least 2.5 years, probably older. If you start quite late then it can be achieved quite quickly.

(Having said that it took a lot longer with my son but I know other children have got the hang of it quite quickly.)

Every child is different and it is up to us as parents to decide when it is best to potty train and how we wish to go about it. I for one find cheap nappies (as well as huggies) useless and feel that pampers are the best by far but again that is my opinion.

The 'wet layer effect' on these nappies is temporary to allow the child to feel the difference between being wet and dry without causing them to have wee red bums! They overcome the problem that arises from using pull up pants which are useless as they are no different to nappies but are 'safer' than going straight into pants.

Good Luck to everyone who is potty training their toddler! :T
