Carlsberg Draughtmaster Keg deal

If you have a Carlsberg Draughtmaster you may, like me, be a little frustrated by the availability and price of the Kegs. So here is a tip to obtain them in a convenient and cost effective way compared to the trek round Tesco Extra stores looking for them.

John Lewis are offering free standard (4/5day) delivery, with Kegs priced at £13.95. Plus they currently have a series of discount codes available:

£5 off £25 WOM885CTB854 - 2 Kegs for £22.90
£10 off £50 PBB852MBC548 - 4 Kegs for £45.80
£15 off £75 YPP667MPL543 - 6 Kegs for £68.70

Plus if you order through Quidco they pay an additional 6% off the price (as they come from the Electrical department!!) before the discount is applied. I have just ordered 6 Kegs and Quidco is showing a payment of £5.02 being tracked, so £63.68 for 6 Kegs = £10.61 per Keg (just over £1 a pint for Draught Carlsberg Export.

The six Kegs were delivered this morning, less than three days from ordering and including a Sunday. Great Service from John Lewis as well as price.

Here is a top tip to ensure you enjoy your Carlsberg Export from your Draughtmaster:-

Ensure you have a Glass that has an etching on the bottom (inside of the glass that is). Can't find one at the supermarket! Can't find one in the Homeware shops! Go to your local pub, buy a few pints and at the end of the night ask the barperson (PC) if you can buy a new glass from him/her - I got lucky and was handed one for free. I would have paid a couple of £ though as it makes a massive difference to the experience, Lager is all about the bubbles LOL.

So how much is the Draught Master? and how many pints do you have to drink to make it worthwhile? At present I enjoy about 8 cans of Tennents Super each week costing £10. Is the draught master any good? Cheers

Tesco have a half price offer on the Carlsberg Export Keg, now £7.29 each. Carlsberg have also now released a normal "Carlsberg" Keg, and Sainsburys have been added to the list of stockists.
