You could try companies house, not sure if it would tell you the information you would need

Companies House has a register of disqualified directors but I do not think you can now search for a director and then see the names of all the companies of which they are a director.

However if you know the name of one company, I think you can pay to get information on its directors and that will list other directorships.

try googling their name - sometimes works.

Perhaps that means they are not a director of any company now. If a private limited company (contraction Ltd) has been struck off, a director of that company may indeed be running another organisation but does not necessarily have to be recorded as a director. If they own the company, it does not mean they also are a director.

What is your reason for wanting the information? What is your connection with the other company? Is your connection with the director or the original company itself?

All i can say the director owes me some money. He was a 1-man company before, and i know works in his same industry as a contractor too.

If he, as an individual, owes you money, the name of the company he now works with is not important.

If the debt was with the previous limited company, it does not transfer to the new one whether or not he owns it or is a director.

If you need to track him down, try using organisations which search electoral registers and so on.
  • You need to get down to your local library and look for a reference book called "Directory of Directors". It should have all the information you need in it.

You can google it, but you'll have to pay for the information - hence get yourself down to your library.

    Hope this helps.

You need to remember that a printed publication (and this one is annual with most recent publication date of January this year), will not be up to the minute. Also, given that the sought for individual was running what appears to have been a small, sole director, business he may well not be in the directory any way.
