Now THAT is what I call MEDICINE !! :)
Great news and yes if you can hide your chuffed-ness from OH it's a lovely debt-denter.
Either way it's nice to be appreciated-especially when appreciation is expressed with pound signs :)

  • Thanks guys.

I honestly didn't think we would get anything. It was one of those things where the AM agrees to targets but gets others to meet them for her, meanwhile she gets approx £20,000 and we get a simple thank you.

I really really wasn't expecing any kind of cash reward but it makes you respect them a bit more for doing it.

I'll end up telling OH but i may reduced the amount by £150 :rotfl:

while i'm typing this, the girl has delievered the new next catalogue which i forgot to cancel - that'll be another £3.50 added on to the next bill

its heartening to hear of a company playing fair and not excluding you or being bitter because you're off sick. Well done to you and them!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • what a nice weekend surprise!

Yes the 'Area Manager' is Senior Civil Service so is on fat cat money while we struggle to get by on a lower than inflation payrise which is only agreed 18 months after it should have first been paid
