Good Morning kizzy, and everybody :hello: :hello: :hello:
Great news on the ISA, kkw :T :T . I hope that you have enough for a bit of a 'personal' treat as well as paying off a good chunk of your debt.
Anyway - I didn't get my 'Chinese' last night, as I was called in to work. Still it was better to earn £30.00 than to spend it.
Am working tonight and tomorrow, so it looks as if my 'Chinese' will be put on hold. May spend 95p on a 2 x 200 gram pack of Asda Milk Chocolate, this afternoon - as compensation. :rolleyes2
:rolleyes2
I am going to the Optician (Boots) for an eye-test today, but have a 'Free eye test' voucher - just hope I don't need new glasses.
Other than that, we will be doing our budgeted weekly shopping this afternoon - boring, I know, but has to be done.

Congratulations kizzykizzywizzy! Just seen your sig - you'll be debt-free in no time!
Anyway, today unfortunately I won't have an NSD - need to put petrol in OH's car as he isn't working at the moment. We are going to babysit for his sister - which means we'll be using her electricity for the night and she is cooking us dinner and has bought me a bottle of lambrini as a thank you! Will aim to put no more than £15 in the car. No other spends.
Total aimed for: £15.0 -
I've spent £500!
Luckily it was only in my head.
I've otherwise had a no spend dayMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

100% paid off :j

Hi all,
not done too bad today, saturday is usually the day that all my good work for the week goes to pot!
I did find a pair of black bootcut jeans in a shop that's closing down, bought them for £1, and they threw in toy 'cooking set' for my kids for nothing. Bought ingredients for a Chicken Korma instead of buying a takeaway tonight, and took chicken out of the freezer to use. Also hired a DVD from the library, 2 nights for £2.25 which is half the price of blockbusters and we get to keep it an extra night. :T
Hubby is out on the town tonight, but as he's usually anybody's after just 2 pints I'm not too worried
Have a great weekend.0 -

I love duck too, PaP - but prefer it 'crisp roasted' with a plum or gooseberry sauce, so we tend to buy a whole duck - when they are reduced - and cook it on 'special occasions'.
Anyway - I've had my optician's appointment - everything fine - they have 'suggested' slightly stronger glasses, but have assured me that it won't make any difference if I don't buy new glasses this year. Going to think about it - as they are about £75.00 (although you do get the second pair free).
So far - total spend has been 30p on parking and 90p on a hot pasty for lunch.
Just getting ready to go to do budgetted weekly shop - then straight to work. :eek:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
