Topcashback vs. Quidco

If there's another thread like this, please point me in the right direction. I've seen several threads about either site, but I'm interested in comparing stories about them, since many of the offers are available from either site. One of Martin's recent articles mentioned that some MSEers were having trouble with Quidco (re the Sky deal, I think). I'm new to both services, so I'd love to hear if TCB is better, or if Quidco's great, or what have you.
Thanks!
Thanks!

TCB free to join probably slightly less cashback offers, Quidco £5 annual fee, sometimes has exclusive cashback deals every now and then
Both good I use them both and compare rates before deciding0 -
I've had nothing but trouble from topcashback. When I joined I received a small amount of cashback which was fine but since last year the tracking seems to have just stopped for me although I've checked and rechecked the tracking. At one point, I checked the tracking before and after a transaction and it still didn't show.
I've currently got two [large] outstanding queries with them (with numerous nudges against each). A previous non-tracking transaction with Dell took ages to resolve and when it did I was only offered 50% of the entitlement (this is after VAT and delivery removed).
Wish I'd stuck with Quidco on which I have little trouble and they do seem to chase down the non-tracked stuff pretty well. I only went with topcashback because they seemed to offer more companies and better rewards but if you don't get the cashback then it's not a good experience. Wish I'd completely stuck with Quidco now.
Mind you, you will find other users who swear by topcashback. This is just my experience. I've been burnt too many times and won't be using them again. I'd rather pay the £5 and get my cashback.0 -
Iv'e had no problems with TopCashBack with about 20 transactions.
I did have trouble with a couple of referals, but that was because I hadn't signed in before one referal, & on another occasion, the referee googled TCB first, so google got the creditdamn cookies!
I've just started Quidco, 2 out of 2 tracked so far, will see how quick payouts are, but that side of things seems very variable & can take mooooonths sometimes.0 -
I love Quidco and tell anyone willing to listen about them. I have had £600+ from them and only one problem, which was resolved quickly.
Quidco:T0 -
I personally use topcashback, switching from quidco about a year ago when quidco seemed to be having problems so I couldn't trust it with the larger payouts. So far, only one transaction for a small amount hasn't tracked and you often get top-ups if you use it a lot. I tried wepromiseto and they didn't really live up to their name. I'll stick with TCB for now but won't hesitate to switch should it start not paying out for any reason.0

I am sticking with quidco, i havent had a single problem since i started using it in april , already been paid out £390 with more on the way.
Most of that was thanks to sky - £120 for Getting sky+ HD, plus sky had an offer on where you got a £25 gift card (so far i have recieved 3 gift cards in the post - sssshhh!):TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
I love quidco too. Yes sometimes you have to double check that your cashback has been added but they're very good with the queries. In a year and a half I've got £750 cashback and am due another £50 soon. This is for stuff I would have been ordering anyway (esp hotels) and I've never paid over the odds for something to get the quidco, it's always been the cheapest deal. Would highly recommend them.
should have said I've had £30 declined in that time period. And £7 of that was duplicates. Actually when I look back M&S is my biggest decliner and I'm presuming that's because I used codes.0 -
I would have to agree that Topcashback have become steadily less reliable, particularly since the site re-design. In recent months, only 1 has tracked properly. I think I'll go with Quidco from now on.0
