Tesco Mfi Deals Now Have £250.00 Min Spend!!!

I just called MFI and they told me that they now have a min spend of £250.00 if you want to use the deals vouchers!!! I called Tesco and they confirmed that this had now been introduced in the last couple of days.
I am very angry with this as i have been saving my points (which i will get on my statement at end of August) for 2 bedside units and they will only amount to about £120.00, so i wont be able to use any of my vouchers!!
Tesco have not advertised this change! They said it would state the change on my statement.
Just thought you all should be aware of this.

"we reserve the right to withdraw or change the conditions of this offer at any time blah, blah, blah" I expect it says somewhere in the offer conditions

See if anyone you know near you is interested in something as well and you could combine your purchases to take it to the £250 mark?0

this is ridiculous.....i wonder who introduced this Tesco or MFI???
i wanted something for just under £150.00 too.....0 -
That's rubbish! They will have to change the pay in full thing on the materials or it will be false.0

I'm sure I read on another post that, because the Alton Towers offer was closing, Tesco bent the rukes a little bit to ensure the poster got their year pass.
Can you write to Tesco and appeal to their good nature? (the many threads around here show how they give away lots of freebies...I'm sure they have a good side!) They may just let you have a one off buy as you were saving for that specific product.
If not, pair up with Jeeves and you're both happy!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I have idea if you have enough points, why not buy what you want i.e. the stools at £104 and something else to make up to £250. Then return the other item and the points are added back to your clubcard?
Think it will work?
To clarify, is the rule min £250 spend in points, or could you buy a £250 sofa and pay £100 points and £150 cash?Like my avatar, took the photo myself with the free digital camera I bought from boots with all my free points! I love moneysaving.0 -
