The Debt Management Wobble

Hi all, I have been in my CCCS debt management plan now for around 3 months. in total I only really have two creditors, LlyodsTSB and Cahoot. Cahoot have been great, accepted the reduced payments almost straight away. LlyodsTSB have been impossible! Not even playing with the idea as far as I can see, they have now set Sechiari, Clark and Mitchell (solicitors) on me with all sorts of scary wording, stating that legal proceedings may be starting etc.

What should I do? Forward the letters onto CCCS and let them deal with it? Should I contact the solicitors? What should I say?

Thanks all in advance!

i've been with cccs for over a year. Between us we have 10 creditors, most have been ok but nat west haven't from the word go. They have now sent paperwork for a cccj.
My advice would be to phone cccs read them the letter and see what their advice would be.
Not much but hope that helps a little x

I would suggest forwarding the bits onto CCCS. Don't hesitate to contact them if you have any worries, they are there to help.

    Stay strong......you will get there.

If they send you a CCJ,contact CCCS client support immediately and they will advise you the best way forward.
Main thing-dont worry, you have not committed a crime by owing money and if you do go to court you will usually find the judge is quite HUMAN.
    Good luck
  • I have read Martin's advice on paying off debts, rather than accumulating savings. But i find it difficult to prise myself away from a monthly direct debit towards an ISA, especially as, I believe, that the interest on the ISA is higher than my interest on the debts.

Did you post this in the wrong thread? Doesn't seem relevant to anything!
