Can anyone answer the following? I have two old personal pension schemes that I no longer pay into. I would like to try and cash them in or failing that can I transfer them to maybe an ISA account or something similiar in order to get to the funds earlier than retirement age. I am now 40. Any advice would be geatly appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you, but have decided to leave them as they are still "working" even though I haven't paid in for years.0

It's not allowed Once you put money in a pension you can't get it out.The max you can access is 25% at age 55.The rest can only be paid out as income.Trying to keep it simple...
