Capquest-same old rubbish !!!

Hi thanks to everyone who has helped so far with Capquest, just need a little more advice now please. I sent letter 1 for cca in december and they sent me a fast track application form and a few photocopied statements. I then heard nothing for ages. They then sent another letter asking for money. I sent them another letter telling them their 30 days was up on 6th March. They then wrote back saying the account was on hold. I have just recieved another letter saying please find enclosed copies of the agreement, statements and deed of assignment from your account.

They have sent me
1) A copy of a letter from Halifax addressed to me from dec 2006 to an address we weren't living at stating that Halifax have sold the debt to Capquest.

2) Another copy of the fast track application form.

3) Another wad of coppied statements.

4) A photocopy of Paramount Bank credit card financial and related conditions, credit agreement which tells me about interest rates and statements and has a small piece about the consumer credit act.

They have asked me to phone them if i wish to discuss the matter further. Please can anyone tell me what i need to do now.
Thanks for your help:beer:

They have not complied with the conditions of Consumer Credit Act, as they have not sent you a true copy of the original consumer credit agreement, therefore the agreement is now unenforceable.
Send them a copy of the letter, courtesy of weller711, that you will find on the following link:

Then you must report them; in the first place, to the Trading Standards Office, who will also advise you if you need to report them to the Information Commissioner.
Tell Trading Standards that you have requested the cca, and also tell them what you have received.

Crapquest are, indeed, both 'thick' and 'chancers'.

Rog's advice is, as always, bang on the money!
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
