Stop Scotsport SPL!

If you are unhappy with the present format of the current format of the Football highlights program 'Scotsport SPL' then there is a petition online that you can sign that is trying to get Scottish TV to change the program to one that shows more football and less talking.

whats the money saving part about this? if you want to watch SPL football buy setanta sports. Scotsport SPL are good. whats the point of putting a petition out for some people to lose their jobs?

The petition is more for changing the program rather than scrapping it and sacking everyone that works on it. So there would be more highlights on the program rather than talk.

The format and presentation of Scotsport SPL is so embarrasingly bad it needs to be changed.

I don't think paying through the hoop for Setanta is a good moneysaving option!!:eek:

I wouldn't want people to lose their jobs, but that female needs less air time!! She does my head in!

As I am sure you have already noticed mclaren that not all posts on MSE are money saving (House buying board perhaps ) however this post is relevant to the Scotland Board and so is welcome here

I watch Scotsport even though I live in East Yorkshire. We are in the Yorkshire TV region but we can watch Grampian via Sky. The local adverts for Scotland are quite entertaining on their own, especially the crappy cd adverts with the ageing duo.;)


Did you know that it is easy to set up Sky to view ITV and BBC channels from other regions in the UK?

Never mind a petition to have more football and less talk. What about a petition to have it on at an earlier time....!!.

I agree it's on far too late. Both my boys love football but they're tucked up in bed when it's on.
