For most chart CDs, I would agree, and I'd like to thank the poster for pointing out this site. Those are seriously good prices.mcbadger wrote:Can't see why you'd buy chart CDs anywhere else
But if the CD is on an indie label, there's a good chance you can download it from eMusic for as little as £1.50 - see my post: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=82503koru0 -
Thanks a lot just placed my first order with them, they even have some for £2.99 :jDalbmeister wrote:I've just used this and it seems to be the cheapest I've found so far.
The most expensive music CD's seem to be £6.99 but I've just bought some top 20 albums for only £4.99 and it includes free delivery. They come from Singapore by the look of it so it can take a few days.
Good Luck!

Your post is great and I download a lot but have to admit when it comes to giving a cd for a gift I always buy an original and Blunt cd do have some great offerskoru wrote:For most chart CDs, I would agree, and I'd like to thank the poster for pointing out this site. I ordered one CD, James Blunt, as a test, and it seems absolutely fine. It seems genuine, and you can tell from the colour of the silver side that it is not a CDR.
This is the new CD-Wow.koru0 -
I ordered two cds - they are originals (as far as a ley man can see). Very impressed.0

I agree, entirely. In fact, as someone who still has 300 vinyl LPs in the corner of my room, I am not so keen on downloads, as I prefer to have something physical in my hand. I certainly would not buy albums from iTunes at £7.99 - I would much rather buy the CD. But if I can buy a downloaded album for £1.50, I struggle to justify paying an extra £5.50 or more, just for the plastic disk and booklet. (Except for gifts, as you say.)coolbreezes wrote:when it comes to giving a cd for a gift I always buy an original
Actually, Bang-CD seem to have pretty limited stock, so for most of the things I would download from eMusic the choice is £1.50 download or CD for £8-9 at CD-Wow.koru0 -
I ordered their Robbie CD which was on offer at £2.99 and it took about a week to arrive. When I put it in my PC Windows Media Player decided it was the Asian version which is probably why it was so cheap!0

Yes, the one I got was a US version. But they do warn, when you order, that it may not be the UK version, so you should check the track listing.madscientist wrote:I ordered their Robbie CD which was on offer at £2.99 and it took about a week to arrive. Received £2.99 Robbie Williams CD in super quick time. Will certainly use them again.
Many thanks to Dalbmeister - and don't be deterred from posting again. I see the person who immediately cried spam has now deleted their comments :rolleyes:0 -
Usually the only difference between versions is the Uk one has a bonus track at the end. So not really a big difference0
