Cheapest way to buy chart CDs - eMusic

There are other posts about eMusic. Indeed, I posted about them myself, a year ago. But these posts focus on the 50 free tracks under the trial offer.
I thought it was worth highlighting that they are also incredibly cheap once you start paying. You can get 90 tracks for $19.99, which is about £11, so that is 12p per track (compared with 79p at iTunes). For a CD with 12 tracks, you could buy it for as little as £1.50!
The only problem is that they only have music from independent labels, so no Coldplay, James Blunt, Beatles, Kylie, etc. There's loads of obscure rubbish, but unless you have resolutely mainstream tastes, you should find some stuff you like.
For instance, they have five of the current 100 best sellers on Amazon:
Bloc Party
Antony and the Johnsons
Sufjan Stephens
Arcade Fire
Richard Thompson
Buy those five CDs from Amazon and it will cost you £44. From iTunes, maybe a touch less. But from eMusic, you can get all 5 for about £6!!! (Or free, if you use the trial offer.)
Plus they have stuff by Eels, The Streets, Super Furry Animals, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Maria McKee, The Go-Betweens, Teenage Fanclub, Brendan Benson ...
You have to subscribe, but you can cancel at any time. I have twice done this with no problem at all. Start with the trial offer: http://www.emusic.com/promo.html
This is the best music bargain on the web. Give it a try.
