Civil Ceremony Music

Has anyone got any suggestions for some civil ceremony music.

We have decided on ... well when I say we ... I have talked my OH into ... 'Bring me Sunshine' to leave to.

However I've no ideas for the rest.

Something classical to enter to? No ideas ... any suggestions welcome :)

Cheers.

I heard the most gorgeous song yesterday and have chosen it either for guests to walk in to or for me to walk in to.

The song is called Tonight and the Rest of My Life by Nina Gordon

It's beautiful I can't stop listening to it!

After much careful thought my daughter chose:

Walking in: You're Just Too Good to be True sang by Lauryn Hill (funky version of the Andy Williams/Frankie Vallie song)

    and

Walking out: We Go Together from Grease (this is closely guarded secret intended to make everyone smile after the ceremony)

  • In my last minute style, we booked our wedding 3 weeks ago, and have 4 months to arrange everything, with budget being the catch phrase for the day!! Music proved to be a pain with no religious link allowed (no mention of heaven, angel etc) so we have decided on the following:

To walk up im having you take my breath away by eva cassidy.(can be found on you tube)

Signing of register, desree's im kissing you, with no lyrics http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IAqLdY0kjxo

Its not the romeo and juliet version as its shorter and only with violen, we want the original but with lyrics taken out, and its 5 mins long so no need to hunt for other music.

and for leaving: wonderful world (eva cassidy and katie melua version)

    Hope this gives ideas!!

I love Eva Cassidy and was thinking of having her version of "over the rainbow" or the one by Iz Ole from the film 50 first dates, for walking in but did'nt know if this was appropriate or not.

I am still stuck on the walking in song, does anyone have any suggestions, I really don't want anything classical, have figured out the rest of the ceremony apart from this one song.

    Help!!!
