Thanks for that. Our shower only runs cold now so it needs to be replaced before the nice weather (?????) ends!!
I am waiting for the electrician to tell me, who knows nothing, what size (in watts or volts or something) that I need to buy.
Is this offer on for a while?Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
Im not sure how long the offer is on for,I think these are end of lines showers.
On the price ticket it says end of range clearance. They were all on display in the bathroom showroom bit at the full price so you can see exactly what they look like.
The actual units I found reduced on a promotion end at the end of an aisle.
The one I got is 9.5KW voltage 240-230.
Includes multi mode handset, riser rail with adjustable handset holder ,soap dish and 1.25m high flow shower hose and had ultra slim profile with a 3 year guarantee.
At £79.00 thought it was good value, checked other specs of cheap ones and is far superior and looks good in chrome!!
Only time will tell when my electrician comes to fit it!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I am sure this is one of Homebase's "Sale" items where they never actually sold it at the higher price. IIRC Argos sell the same unit for about £90.
So possibly still a bargain - but not as much as homebase would have u think!!0 -
Thanks Phatbhoy, I just looked on the Argos web site and the exact same one
is £129.95 on there so quite pleased..
832/0201 argos ref if anyone interested.
Now I need a cheap bathroom suite any ideas???? :eek:0 -

Have just been to Homebase on the way home. Nothing in clearance and only two types in their "half price offer". I've got details of both to see if they are suitable.
I was going to check out Tiles R Us but no details on the website and the store is too far away.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0
