BM pulls self-cert sub-prime


BM Solutions has confirmed it is to pull all self-certification sub-prime mortgages from Sunday.

A spokeswoman for the firm said the range had been pulled to reduce business volumes, and noted BM constantly reviewed its product offering, and made changes as necessary.

we have just been declined self cert with bm, which was supposed to be portable. strange as halifax have sent us our approved mortgage today and i was told they were stricter than bm. also our mortgage offer came at a better rate than the kfi.

perhaps its because bm are about to get a whopping £7500 redemption penalty off us. and halifax are in the same group so how can they lose.

really can't understand why bm wouldn't accept us as we have reduced our mortgage from £140000 to £78000.
