Hi there, re Glasgow Science Centre, I would definitely allow a full day there. We went recently and stupidly didn't go till about 12.30pm (travelling from Edinburgh) and we were very disappointed to find several of the afternoon workshops were fully booked and therefore unavailable!
I found the visit revolved round the various workshops/displays/films which start at set times, with the time in between them for looking around at the various exhibits. It was still a good day out but I wish I'd known beforehand what the setup was - means we'll probably be back in the summer!!
We ate at Bella Italia which was really nice and child-friendly. Whole day was done on Tesco Clubcard Deals so great value!0 -
