Boots was letting you trade an old mascara for an Estee Lauder sample. Apparently it ended Monday, though if some stores have supplies left they may still trade. Don't know if other stores are doing this, but other stores are giving away Estee Lauder samples if you have a coupon from the current Glamour mag. Which means you could drop by or call and see if they will also swap your old mascara (John Lewis, Debenhams, etc. -- Boots is doing it too, so I'd start off with Boots either way).

Edit: Oops, pollsdolls beat me to it, and with more info! :)

Waiting is painful...........I haven't bought anything in Boots for 7 days now........ have got my birthday money to spend.............

    Couple of questions:

Are the sanctuary vouchers still beeping?

Expert voucher from mag - is this still beeping?

I seem to go a very BRIGHT shade of RED when it beeps, and starting getting all hot pmsl.........

I even stopped wearing my red coat...... so they stop spotting the lady in red, going red :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Expert voucher worked for me today in Milton Keynes on an exfoliating mitt at £1.29

Also.............................I got 2, yes 2 MF GWP for £0.00 with no MF purchases. Had to grab them quick as there was an SA just hanging about, took them to the till and the SA there said these are free with a MF purchase and I said well they have gone through the till, she didn't like doing it I could tell but them she smiled sweetly at me when the till produced a survey!!!

I have already emptied the hatboxes and got them sitting cutely on my dressing table, will use the nail varnish later as good reviews on here! I'm just going to look out for people with the same colour nail varnish as me in the future this could be a noval way to spot a Bootser!

The main point of my question is that I was wondering if you all would get offended if someone said
"sorry you don't have enough points to pay but I can void things out to do two seperate transactions if you like?
Oh and just to make everything quicker for yourself in future you need to ask to pay in points at the start of the sale as you can only pay for items worth less than you have on your ad card and it means it's easier for you to pay that way" *smile at customer*
    Not at all, Orlaith!
Though I often forget to say that I want to pay with points... coz I'm too scatterbrained! But I tend to have enough. I wouldn't get upset at all if someone said I didn't have enough points. Offering to do two transactions is very nice of you, I'm sure not everyone would offer to do that.

Can relate to the blushing - have always blushed under times of stress or embarassment ! Not sure at the moment, when I blush more - when i'm faffing about with all my coupons at boots or when i'm doing my other part-time job (mystery shopping):D

Corrrrr wouldn't that be great - a mystery shop at Boots :j !!!! (I should be so lucky lol)
