    Arnison Centre -

Marketplace - The 17 Shimmer powders going through at £1.
Plenty of the JF hairsprays for 49p with tillspit. No mini serums though.
A few Thorntons eggs for £1.24.
None of the "free" Wisdom toothbrushes

did you notice if boots in the marketplace had any hat boxes or S&G sets left and how much they were? there were loads on Saturday but wonder if they have been reduced.

    What a nightmare afternoon!

I was just getting ready to go Bootsing,I have withdrawal symptoms as I was away over the weekend so nowhere near a Boots.I actually did visit a chemist yesterday to buy vaseline for my dry lips,I felt such a traitor and I go no points or GWP!

Anyway back to my nightmare,I went into kitchen with a glass I had at lunchtime and wondered why my shoes were sqeaking on the floor.I thought I had splashed some water.............eh no the water was an inch deep:eek:

It seemed to be coming from the dishwasher,so switched that off and phoned OH (no idea what he was meant to do over the phone but it seemed a good idea at the time!)
He told me to turn off the water (obvious!).I ran and grabbed the beach towels out the linen cupboard and threw them all over the floor.I had to take the kickplate bits off all the units to stop them getting ruined. Then my neighbour arrived (OH had phoned her to help me ,as he obviously thinks I am useless:confused: ) She pulled put dishwasher and washing machine and we dried it all up.
So just waiting on Oh to find the problem when he gets in.

I needed some therapy after that so popped out to Boots.:rotfl:

I got a Ted Baker mens set in a bag for £3.25 from £14
A travel first aid kit £1.25
2 x tubs of Splenda for 50p each
    and 341 on 17
1 x expert toner with 100pts from mag
    3 x 8 pack energizer batteries £1 each and 342!

    No toothbrushes to be seen:rolleyes:

OH is home now so dishwasher is lying in bits on the patio, all my towels are soaking:rolleyes:
    :j I love bargains:j

You know, I didn't see any at all. I thought it was strange as the hatboxes in Marketplace have been £9 for weeks now. There were just a few Thorntons eggs where the S&G sets and hatboxes were this morning and no new stuff on clearance.
The Arnison Centre definitely seem to have the best and quickest reductions.

Just had an amazing shop - got about £67 worth of stuff for a grand total of £2.79 in actual cash.

    :j :j

Briefly, a little local store I rarely go to cos it's so grimy, turned out to have not only masses of magazines, but also a mountain of Sanctuary all reduced. All the full sized ones!!!! All reduced to about £1.25 so I had a field day. Got two lots to make up £10 to get the GWP as well (they had just two left) and then used £3 coupons from free travel bags last year on each - paid one with a pigsback voucher and one with points. Then got aspirin for Mum (she paid) and tootbrush for me. Then toothbrush and what turned out to be the wrong product on the shelf - not hairspray but an Umberto Giannnini styling product which was £4.79 and not £1.99. Paid with haircare voucher, mag voucher for toothbrush and a massive £2.79 in cash.

Had forgotten how much fun Bootsing was. :D

Hi can anyone tell me if there are nappies on offer in Boots? going there in a bit but heard Tesco's had offers on nappies too, which has the better offer:confused:
    Thanks in advance ;)
Just had a quick look on .com at the nappy offers, they seem to have a few. Go here and click on the drop down menu under Current promotions, there's a list of the nappy offers there.
