Tried in Burton and they went thru at full price.
There is new packaging on these maybe. A load went on clearance section in my store today for 50p when I went to the no 17 counter all the same colours but with new packaging. The new ones have the colour on the end and around the top of the pencil for a cm or so. Stocked up on three lip glazes 2 lipliners and 3 black eyeliners ,1 true blue eyeliner all for £1.58 the lot along with three free wisdom toothbrushes.0 -
I couldn't find any freebie wisdom toothbrushes today in Luton
another bootser has either cleared the shelf (discount-diva was it you?:rotfl: )or the manager has removed them...probably the latter. He's well clued up on glitches:mad:
They had loads of Roc mothers day GWP on shelf, so I tried to get one without buying any Roc, but till beeped:o Oh well, it was worth a try!
I was going to get the expert hand cream that other peeps were getting for half price, but It scanned at full price:eek:
Clearance shelf was rubbish, so I left with just a boots mag. I don't need anything unless it's free:D
Will do a spot of bootsing in London tomorrow. My local store is uselss!0 -
crazyposhgal wrote: »Thanks. I noticed on the shelf it said £20 but mine went through the til at £15 so was not sure why.
I was looking at that one today in Fort and the SEL said £15.00. No GWP there though...well, the little set is, but it's not marked as such.Val.0 -

I have now learnt how to do the photobucket link (thanks to geordie_lass for that) and would now like to learn how to do the multiple quote thingy so if anybody can do me an idiots guide please it would be much appreciated thank you .... whoever thought that by joining this thread my computer skills would improve .... mind you I still type with two fingers :rotfl: and to keep it on topic I didn't go to boots today but will be going on Saturday.
I posted how to do this a while back, will dig it out for you hun0 -
thanks for the pic WEEK, dunno why i thought it was a pink bag??? blonde moment again! saw pink ones in the local and got a bit excited but thought id check on here 1st!
bit annoyed coz took list of bar codes for no17 cheapies and got morticia lip and white eye liners both went thru full price, £2.49 and £1.99 each PAH!!!!!!!!!! can i return them does anyone know?? most upset at that! lol
I dont see why not(return them I mean!)
I am going to return a NO 7 tinted moisturiser as it went through at full price in one store. I bought it the same day in a diff store for half price, and it was not reduced stickered or anything!!
I need to rant re cust service in 2 places today(not Boots though! ). I was returning a pale pink jacket bought in one TKmaxx to another one nearer to me and the SA refused to take it back! It had 2 different tags on it and I had my receipt. It was reduced to £15. It has a dirty mark on the back of it which was on it when I bought it(from being on the floor in the shop) and I think she was implying I had worn it. How you can wear something with big tags on the outside(which are a kind you could NOT remove and reattach) I cant work out. I will need to take it to the store I bought it from. I asked her to write on the receipt re her refusal to take it back as my 14 days to return it are up tomorrow. I am so angry i want to write to thee HO. I spend hundreds of pounds a year in TK(or did!!!!).
Second upset- Took DDs Swarovski earrings to Debenhams to get them sent back as stones are falling out(again). These earrings have spent more time at Swarovski than in her ears. This is the 4th time they have had to go back. It takes at least 6-8 weeks for them to come back. My daughter has other Swarovski jewellery and earrings but only these ones give problems. We only got these back before christmas. The SA told me that the stones are falling out as "dirt" is getting behind the stones and pushing them out and we are "not taking enough care of them"!!!!!
She then changed her tune and said the "dirt" was perfume! My daughter has a lot of designer jewellery and takes great care of it. There is just something about the design of these earrings, they are like small half balls with stones set in. I was very annoyed at the SA insinuations and attitude. I wasnt even complaining about the fact they were going to have to go back again, I only mentioned it in a jokey way. Are earrings not meant to be worn?
They say things come in threes so Ive one more to go!!
Sorry about the rant!
Never went to Boots today(yet!).
KMoney is only of any use if you can spend it!:cool:0 -

No probs at all hun. I have dug it out, here you go..
How to double quote: (or triple/quadruple etc..)
1.) 'Quote' the first post you want to use. 'Copy' all text you wish to use in your reply. (including the bit that says [ quote ] and the end bit [ /quote ] )
2.) Go back out to the next post you want to quote. Press the 'quote' button again, then in that box that appears, 'paste' your previously copied quote text.
3.) You should then have both quotes in there from 2 different posts.
4.) Repeat procedure 2 to insert more quotes in your reply post
HTH, looks bloody confusing! lol.0
