Can some kind Bootster fill me in on the details of the *mascara swop* thingie please?

I have super-sensitive skin & if some of us have had a reaction to the dream lash, then i'm bound to get one too.........the red-weepy-eyed look is SO not me.:rolleyes:


On the bigger house thing: Didn't work for me either:o


Large S & G sets have disappeared from *the* store......hatboxes are around on the lux. bathing aisle but no price:mad:

Good evening fellow bootsers:D I've been away for a few days and I've really missed you all:A I'm not sure which is more addictive; Bootsing or this thread:rotfl:

On Monday, I went to Milton Keynes - headed straight for Boots:D it was rubbish though:( No MF gwp and the clearance section was tiny:mad: I left empty handed.

On Tuesday, I was in B'ham city centre. Headed straight for Boots again:D No MF gwp here either:mad: spotted a very small clearance shelf near tills. Found accessories hatboxes priced 9.00 and S&G sets priced 7.50. But, there was a sign above which read" all now 1/2 marked price" I took a S&G set to till. SA scanned it. Came up at 7.50 I showed SA sign and she agreed with me, they should be 3.75. Off she went to ask the manager. She came back and said manager said "they are 7.50" I was not happy about this, it is false advertising (in my opinion!). I left it though because I was in a hurry. Wish I'd had a chance to speak to the manager. I would have asked for his name and called CS!

Today, I went into Luton. Quite a lot of stuff on clearance shelf. Lots of Boots cuccumber creams and boots cleansers (blue bottle) priced around 60p. I think these are on bogof too, but I wasn't tempted. I'm only going to get what I need from now on, unless it's free of course;) I also found the infamous garnier eye creams reduced to 4.25 (should be 2.25 after discount kicks-in) again, I didn't buy any. Then, I spotted 6 Lee Stafford babe wave priced 60p...I grabbed all 6:D I asked nice SA if I could put them through in 2 transaction. She so I could, so I got 6 babewave for free with 2 x 2.00 haircare vouchers:j :j :j

I have been unable to contact HR,I keep leaving messages on machines and no-one gets back to me!
I am seeing GP tomorrow to get signed off a bit longer,I will lose money but my health is more important.

Went Merry hill boots,

No MF GWP, Never seen any hatboxes or S&g sets. Seen a couple of roc GWP .

17 GWP - the lip palette .Store has done their own poster saying buy 2 botanics and get free gift.
I decided to get 2 reduced botanics firming gel @49p each , loads of reduced botanics minis at back of store.
They've plenty mags in this store.

What store did you get the hatbox in? Can you say where you work about? If I had someone in the same situation as yourself then I would have let them have their hols first if they wanted.

I got it in Fort Kinnaird Edinburgh ,it was all alone ,I guess I felt sorry for it!

I work for the NHS! Its the way they changed their minds giving me 17hrs notice!

Went to evil peterborough store yesterday and what a nightmare ! finally found the reduced s & g set so bagged one of those .Expert voucher would not scan and SA tried to tell me would only work against the product pictured and not against the expert stuff i had bought.Had to insist a manager put it through manually.Then did 17 glitch and although it went through the Sa said it shouldn't and would get a manager to reverse it !!!! Luckily no-one around to do it so paid up and left quickly!
Unfortunately one of the SA who witnessed this was an old acquaintance who knows my name and details so hope i dont get banned !!

I've got it twice with only a few other bits and bobs. Today the SA said, "don't think that's for that mini size" but I said "it worked the other day" and she tried it and of course it worked! :T

I've put this through on it's own twice now.

SA said both times that it's not valid on miniatures and I told them I'd tried it before and it worked so they've put them through and of course they did work.
