I have an attachment of earnings for council tax..does this mean i have a CCJ?

does an attachment of earnings for non payment of council tax mean i have a CCJ against me...
just wondering as i am in the process of applying for a mortgage...

    AOE's are administered by the Council under authority of the Liability Order issued by a Magistrates Court - no records of this appears on your credit record and no CCJ is issued
    I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.
