Sony Ericsson K800i On O2

Sony Erricson K800i on 02 in Argos for just under £80 (The website last night showed it out of stock but it's not, we have 2 Argos in Grimsby and one had 1 and the other had 8 in stock.)

I know it's around the same price for different networks but not for 02 as we were finding most at £99 on O2

Tesco was the only other place it was less than £99 (Other than in Tesco's)

    Nice phone.
If you have an O2 store in your town they will price-match.

(for some reason it won't let me do a working direct link so copy and paste and add www in front)

From their website - Mobiles.co.uk is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Carphone Warehouse Group.

Back up to 99.99 now :(

It is, Marky_B but that's Vodafone, we wanted it on 02 and didn't want to invalidate the warranty (especially as the joystick is known to be a pain on occasions) by having it unlocked so wanted cheap o2 price.

And when we buy one of those, the price of unlocking could bring it up close to the actual price for the 02 version :)

Slightly off topic but picked up on the mention of joystick problem on this phone. I haven't been happy with mine for about 6 mths (got it in May or June last year) but haven't actually gone back to the shop with it (I know......silly me). Have felt it was probably me having problems with the joystick but now wondering if it is faulty -not responsive at times and is very infuriating.

Is it worth me taking it back - it is a '3' phone by the way.

TIA and sorry for going off topic.

I too have joystick problems. Although this seems to have started when I removed it from the pc via the usb connection (I 'stopped' it correctly but it didn't seem to work) but I'm on a contract so I'll be sending it back to get fixed. I'm also with 3 and their repairs are done super quick. Send it back!

    Hi
Sorry for delay. Did send it back and as you say, return was super quick. COuldn't tell me what they did except that repair was done - have my doubts as a) still have same problem, b) still same dust around joystick base and c) still looses 'power' in form of light on occassion (seperate problem).
Should send back again but hesitant as fear just replace with rubbish refurbished model.
    Carrying on for now.
