No one can answer those questions, as they have not been dealing with your paperwork - give your broker a call, they should be able to put your mind at easeI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. so even if we have a offer and due to complete in 2 weeks, can mort express withdraw their offer this late??0

Any lender can withdraw a mortgage at any time if they wish - it is rare for them to do so unless new information comes to ligt which affects the application in progress.

Just an update.....
We have been told today that our mortgage has been formally agreed!!!! I am very shocked in the current climate, but very happy.
Really hoping everything goes ok now until completion!

How long does Mortgage Express take to formally agree on a mortgage, we applied on 3rd March?0

well i am with mortgage express i can recall we got our offer within 3-4 weeks, not sure if mortgage express are effected with the credit issues but maybe they access more closely these days???0

My broker said that they are one of the quickest. It has taken about 2 weeks since we had our agreement in principle but that was because it took us a while to get all the paperwork together that they requested.
Once they had all our info they made the decision within 48 hours. They did the valuation about a week after our aip.
I have found them to be very quick.0 -
Thank you, for your reply. It's just that I am a bit worried about thecreditcrunch thing, we have already submitted what they have asked, and we are not sure whether we should tell the solicitors to start with the proceeding until we have there formal agreement.0
