26 inch televisions

i am thinking of buying a philips 5522d television from amazon (cheapest price) is it any good or has anybody any other ideas for televisions about £400

If you have a comet clearance store nearby its well worth a visit, we got a 26 HD ready LCD for under £300.

What I have done in the past is go to Comet clearance auctions. These have their products going for sale at cheaper prices. They are cleared becuase there has even been damage to the products or packaging, don't be alarmed though they are all in working order. I bought a dishwasher for £180 cheaper than in store because it had a dent in the side but you can't see this as it slots between two cupboards in the kitchen! Similarly the TV's normally have dents at the back of them which one cannot see. Just hope this helps.......................

My son recently bought a Panasonic Viera from Asda for £349, I think they're £329 now. It's excellent.
