I have used online shopping with Tesco (nearest decent-sized Tesco is 10 miles away), Sainsburys and Waitrose. Have found Tesco to be fine, Waitrose superb but a bit pricey, but every time I use Sainsburys I swear never to do so again! Lots of "sorry no stock", innappropriate substitutions, really short use-by dates - total frustration! Customer services are always very apologetic etc., but that doesn't make up for the poor service - I end up having to go out to get the replacements, which rather defeats the object. I think I've learned my lesson now......

I've been let down badly by Sains online too. I've given them loads of last chances but they messed up every time.
Sadly we don't have get online Waitrose here, but hopefully not to long now Waitrose has opened up shop up North.

One tip for Tesco online - don't just rely on the 'special offers' section, because I've found it doesn't show all of the items on special offer. Go to https://www.fixtureferrets.co.uk and that will show you a more complete list. Then, it's as easy as searching for the products you want in the Tesco search box.

we don't have a waitrose but we are in the Ocado delivery area so we get watrose through them....worth checking

I have to say I love shopping online. I've found my bill reduced from approx £100 every few weeks to about £30, as going round the supermarket means extra things in the trolley, whereas online I only get what's on my list,. I use Tescos, and have never had a problem. Of course, the voucher codes are extra nice! The drivers take away any old plastic bags I have for recyling, but I agree, I would like to see them able to accept cut out coupons. I suppose it would be a bit of a nightmare for the office staff to be fefunding bits and bobs here and there.

It's a bit strange not being able to see the products, as I've had in my mind a bottle of olive oli was a decent size, and when it arrived it was tiny! But for money savign I can't beat it - hubby not sneaking in chocs or biscuits has saved me loads!
